Jack O'Lantern Spectacular
Each fall, more than 5,000 pumpkins are intricately decorated and lined throughout the trails at Iroquois Park part of the annual Jack O'Lantern Spectacular.
More than 100 large pumpkins, called "Intricates," will be set up and waiting for finishing touches and carvings. And they will be joined by thousands of others along the trail.
Planning for the event started last November, and drawings started a few weeks ago. The artists can spend anywhere from three hours to three days on a piece, depending on its size and detail.
Depending on the weather, the pumpkins are switched out about every 10 days. The theme this year is "Trivia Night: Pumpkin Edition."
During the walk you will find anything from pop culture to sci-fi to nature.
The proceeds from the event — which runs now through Nov. 2 — will benefit the Parks Alliance of Louisville.

This will be the final weekend for the event, which runs from 5-9 p.m.
New Albany Wicked Walk
The New Albany Wicked Walk takes guests on a tour of spooky locations in historic downtown New Albany. From strange and wicked happenings, to ghosts, haunted houses and the Civil War, learn about documented historical events.
There is an early option and a late option for the tour. The early tour will run from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., with the late tour starting at 9 p.m. and ending at 11 p.m.
Organizers said the tour will mainly stay in downtown Louisville, with a few outliers. Guests will visit sites where events actually occurred, said to have occurred or have direct connection to a specific event, such as hauntings, murders, tragic accidents, crimes, and "other supernatural goings-on."
The tour meets at 202 East Market Street, which is the New Albany Farmer's Market pavilion, 10 minutes before the start of each tour.
