LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- People are invited to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Bardstown Road Aglow earlier this year.
The Highlands Commerce Guild will host Aglow in July on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. It will be held on Bardstown Road and include free trolley rides from Trolley de 'Ville from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. According to a news release, the trolleys will run from Douglass Loop to Bardstown Road and along Baxter and Barret avenues.
“Make plans to celebrate the holidays in July,” Louisville Metro Councilman Reno-Weber. “Many businesses and restaurants will offer discounts and specials during the event, and Santa Claus will make a special appearance in his summer suit. Shop local and support the Highlands area!”
The main anniversary event will be Dec. 6.
