LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — It's time to enter the Kentucky State Fair! The premium books are now online with details about competitions.
Each book outlines classes, rules, deadlines, and drop-off and pick-up days for the fair.
Cash prizes and more than 5,000 blue ribbons are awarded each year at the fair. Entries in the East Hall include antiques, baking, photography, homebrew beer, plants and flowers, and more. Entries in the West Hall include the famous Kentucky country hams, eggs, tobacco, vegetables and melons, and more!

This year's fair runs Aug. 15 through Aug. 25 in Louisville.
