LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- City leaders are seeking input from residents on how to make Louisville more accessible to electric vehicles.
Mayor Craig Greenberg's Office released the city's draft of an EV Readiness Plan, which pinpoints areas most in need of charging stations.Â
Those areas include multifamily housing, shopping, business hubs and underserved neighborhoods.
According to Greenberg's office, EV ownership in Jefferson County tripled between 2021 and 2024.
Thursday's release of the readiness plan comes after Ford announced the Louisville Assembly Plant will make an electric pickup truck.Â
Louisvillians are invited to view and comment on the plan through Friday, Oct. 31.Â
