LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Shelby County High School was on a brief lockdown Thursday morning after a bomb threat. 

That's according to Capt. James Lisby with the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office, who confirmed officers responded to a report of a potential bomb threat on the school's campus. Kentucky State Police K9s were brought in to search the school but found nothing suspicious. 

The lockdown was lifted shortly after 1 p.m. 

The investigation into the threat is ongoing.
