LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Derby Dinner Playhouse is saying goodbye to a longtime director.

Lee Buckholz is retiring as Producing Artistic Director effective March 1, 2025 the company said on social media Friday. Buckholz has been at the theater for 35 years and directed 92 productions.

According to Broadwayworld.com, Tina Jo Wallace will become Producing Artistic Director when Buckholz leaves. 

Derby Dinner Playhouse first opened in 1974, and is one of the oldest and largest continually operating professional dinner theaters in the country.
