LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Celebrate a new year by taking a journey back 165 million years to a time when dinosaurs roamed the Earth.
Jurassic Quest stomps back into Louisville this weekend at the Kentucky Exposition Center, Jan. 10-12.
Explorers will walk through millions of years of history, learning about the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods while seeing the life-like dinosaurs that ruled the planet.
In addition to life-like dinosaurs, you can ride on dinosaurs, see animatronic dinosaur shows and participate in interactive science activities like fossil digs. There will also be bounce houses, inflatables, a toddler play area, photo opportunities for children and more.
Organizers said Jurassic Quest offers the nation's "most scientifically accurate tour with the biggest herd of photorealistic dinosaurs," which has been traveling the country for more than 10 years.
"Jurassic Quest works in collaboration with leading paleontologists to ensure each dinosaur is painstakingly replicated in every detail," organizers said in a news release. "From coloration to teeth size, to textured skin, fur or feathers, drawing on the latest research about how we understand dinosaurs looked and moved."
