LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Kentucky State Police and Indiana State Police are asking people to vote in a national cruiser contest.
The agencies entered the 2025 Best Looking Cruiser Contest, which is held annually by the American Association of State Troopers. People can vote on their favorite cruiser photo in the public contest. The winning image takes the cover spot on the association's 2026 calendar.
This year, KSP's photo includes a 2024 Mustang GT cruiser, a 2024 Dodge Durango pursuit vehicle and a Bell 407 helicopter from the agency's Aircraft Support Branch.
“This contest is a great opportunity to highlight the professionalism our troopers and pilots bring to the job every day,” KSP Commissioner Phillip Burnett, Jr. said in a news release. “We’re proud to represent Kentucky, and we’re hoping everyone joins us in casting their vote.”
KSP has finished in the top five of voting in the past seven years. KSP won the contest in 2021 and 2022.
Indiana State Police are asking Hoosiers to vote in the contest as well. ISP's photo includes an ISP Tahoe at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway pagoda and Yard of Bricks.
Voting started Monday and goes through July 11 at 5 p.m. People can vote once per day.
