LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Those looking for a way to give back during spring break can join a neighborhood cleanup this weekend.

The Brightside Spring Community-wide Cleanup is set for Saturday, April 11, across several Louisville districts.

Brightside will provide supplies, including gloves and trash bags.

Participating districts include:

  • District 6 with Councilman J.P. Lyninger from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Shelby Park on East Oak Street
  • District 8 and District 9 with councilmen Ben Reno-Weber and Andrew Owen from 9 a.m. to noon at the New Main parking lot
    • Participants are encouraged to bring their own gloves, rakes and shovels
  • District 10 with Councilwoman Josie Raymond at 10 a.m. at Buechel Park
    • Meet at the park playground on Alpha Avenue
  • District 15 with Councilwoman Jennifer Chappell from 9-11 a.m. at Preston Park
    • Meet at the Preston Park Pavillion
  • Saint Joseph Neighborhood Cleanup at 11 a.m.
    • Meet at Zanzabar on South Preston Street
  • District 21 with Councilor Betsy Ruhe from 10 a.m. to noon along Southern Parkway from Wilder Park to Woodlawn
    • Meet at Beechmont Orchard on South Third Street
