INDIANA UPDATE | Hoosier health chief says COVID-19 tests increasing despite figures to the contrary
Dr. Kristina Box said new labs have started to test in Indiana but are sending results to the state at different times. "I'm confident that the testing is increasing, and I just think there are numbers that wax and wane there," she said.
The tests would be for people with symptoms of the illness who are 'essential' employees, such as health care workers, EMS and other first responders or staff of nursing homes or long-term care facilities.
