Andy Beshear edged Gov. Matt Bevin by just over 5,000 votes, prompting Bevin to request the recanvass Wednesday afternoon.
Over the weekend, Bevin spoke at the Young America's Foundation Fall College Retreat in California, where his campaign cited possible voter fraud and voting "irregularities" as grounds for his recanvass request.
