LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A Mega Millions ticket worth $30,000 was sold at a Louisville convenience store during the Friday, March 13, drawing.

The ticket was purchased at Thorntons on 4516 Poplar Level Road, according to the Kentucky Lottery.

Lottery officials said the ticket matched four white balls and the Mega Ball. That combination typically wins $10,000, but a 3X multiplier increased the prize to $30,000.

The winning numbers for the March 13 drawing were 6, 19, 36, 40 and 55, with Mega Ball 9.

Lottery officials encourage winners to sign the back of their ticket and store it in a secure place. Winners have 180 days from the drawing date to claim their prize.

Prizes must be claimed at Kentucky Lottery headquarters at 1011 W. Main St. in Louisville.
