The automaker said Tuesday that its U.S. plants -- including Kentucky Truck and Louisville Assembly Plant -- are shuttered indefinitely amid the coronavirus pandemic. KTP had been set to reopen April 14.
Ford Motor Co.'s two Louisville auto plants could be back to work as soon as May 4, union officials told their members in a pair of memos on Thursday.
Besides having to suspend production at their factories around the world, many dealerships have been shut because of governmental stay-at-home orders.
