In April, a gallon of regular unleaded cost an average of $1.74. Now, it’s $2.10 — though that’s still about 70 cents lower than a year ago.
The last time that more than half the stations sold regular gas for less than $2 a gallon was June 18.
If you live in or travel to Kentucky you might have to pay more at the pump next year.
