Last year's event was canceled due to the pandemic, but Metro United Way says volunteers helped them donate more than five tons of supplies to people in need.
On Wednesday, Mayor Greg Fischer and several area organizations and nonprofits announced the 2022 Give a Day will run from April 1 through April 30.
