The formation of the new Thoroughbred Safety Coalition was announced at Keeneland racecourse Tuesday morning.
The Lexington racetrack is already scheduled to to host the 2020 World Championships on Nov. 6-7, but will now also hold the 39th championship event on Nov. 4-5, 2022.
There will be an attendance limit of about 20,000 people each day. The track had originally said in the summer that the fall meet would be full capacity.
