Louisville-based health insurer Humana Inc. plans to cut 2% of its workforce, about 800 people, by the end of the year, the company said in a statement on Monday to WDRB News.
Louisville-based Humana Inc.’s “workforce optimization” initiative, which involves cutting 2% of the company’s nationwide employees, or about 800 people, will cost the company $46 million.
A majority of the positions, 150, will be work-from-home, while 50 will be in-person at an office, the company said in a news release Monday.
