The 2012 tornado brought winds up to 175 miles per hour, strong enough to lift a school bus from across the street and send it flying into the restaurant.
The Dietrichs owned five homes just north of Highway 160 as you go into Henryville from Interstate 65. Four of them were flattened by winds up to 175 miles per hour on March 2, 2012, when an EF-4 tornado roared through town.
Ten years after losing her legs due to injuries she received while shielding her children from the devastating tornadoes that tore through Henryville in 2012, Stephanie Decker and her family are doing well.
