A high-ranking lawmaker confirmed Tuesday that the state may consider an appropriation in 2020 to help the University of Louisville take over KentuckyOne Health's assets.
The announcement came in a news release late Friday afternoon.
Sen. Morgan McGarvey, a Louisville Democrat, remains "unconvinced" that the University of Louisville's plan to take over KentuckyOne Health's facilities is a wise move.
