LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Crews will soon demolish half of the bridge that carries Interstate 71 South traffic over Interstate 264.

The closures in the area begin at 8 p.m. Friday and will last through 5 a.m. Monday. Drivers won't be able to take the Watterson Expressway to I-71 South and vice versa.
It also won't be possible to continue on I-71 North past that area. Drivers will need to follow detours and turn around or take another route all together.
