KentuckyOne Health has begun preparing for a transition of its operations to U of L Health, the nonprofit's interim CEO told employees last week. A deal is expected by June 30.
The move raises fresh concerns about the future of the downtown hospital where more than 2,500 people work.
The university has begun developing a contingency plan in case it must eventually move programs that now operate at Jewish and Frazier Rehab, U of L's president told reporters Thursday.
