LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A Louisville grocery store was evacuated after a reported bomb threat Friday afternoon, Louisville Metro Police said.

LMPD spokesperson Matt Sanders said officers were dispatched at 4:16 p.m. on reports of a bomb threat at the Costco Wholesale located at 3408 Bardstown Road. When officers arrived, the store was already evacuated by management as a precaution.

Police said they searched the area and determined there was no threat to the community. The store reopened shortly after.

LMPD's Homeland Security Unit is investigating.
