Trailing 28-23 early in the fourth quarter, the Cardinals scored two touchdowns in the final 11 minutes to defeat Miami, 38-31.
The result was a win that even MacGyver could appreciate:Â Louisville 38, Miami 31.
Instead of likely earning a spot in the Orange Bowl in Miami, the Cards were bumped to the Holiday Bowl in San Diego, California, where they will likely play Southern California at 8 p.m. on Wednesday Dec. 27.
