The 86-year-old has helped organize countless demonstrations, public conversations, and boycotts focusing on everything from desegregation, to women's and worker's rights and environmental justice for over six decades.
Jones wants leaders to move quicker to stop violence by doing things like putting up lights and requiring clear backpacks at schools.
