The North Washington Volunteer Fire Department chief said his firefighters cannot currently respond to 911 calls because they have no contract with the township.
Firefighters are back on call at the North Washington Volunteer Fire Department, also known as Monroe Township Volunteer Fire Company, in Washington County after it temporarily stopped responding to 911 calls last month.
