LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A person is dead and another is injured after crashing their car into a house Saturday morning in Bardstown.
The Bardstown Fire Department was called to the 800 block of West Stephen Foster Avenue at 4:21 a.m., according to their Facebook post, for a vehicle versus house crash.
Crews arrived on scene to find two people in a black car on the property. Officials believe that the black car left the roadway, first hitting another car that was parked at the house and then the house itself.
Both occupants in the car were transported by EMS. The passenger later died from their injuries, and the driver was flown from Flaget Hospital to UofL Trauma Center.
The victim was identified Sunday as 27-year-old Morgan Williamson.
Kentucky State Police is investigating.
