LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Thanksgiving time is when turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy are the focus but Saturday, one of those stole the spotlight.

It's being dubbed the world's largest biscuits and gravy competition.

More than 30 amateur and professional chefs presented their best gravy recipes to a panel of judges. It took place at the Mellwood Art Center.

The proceeds benefit the Boys and Girls Haven which is a foster care located in Louisville.

"There is all kinds of gravy," Steve Diebold, a chairman for the Boys and Girls Haven, said. "We had non-traditional, people's choice. We had newcomer gravy. It was just amazing."

This is the 11th year for the Gravy Cup.
