LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Two people and an unborn child are dead after a shooting Wednesday night in Louisville's Park Hill neighborhood.
About 11 p.m., Louisville Metro Police were called on a Shotspotter report in the 1700 block of St. Louis Avenue, off Dixie Highway, LMPD spokesperson Dwight Mitchell said in a statement.
Upon arrival, officers found an adult male and an adult female inside a vehicle. Both had been shot. Mitchell said both were transported to UofL Hospital where they died from their injuries.
Late Thursday morning, Mitchell confirmed that the woman was pregnant and the department was considering the incident a triple homicide.
The victims were identified Thursday night as Da'Vionna Sloane, 23, her unborn baby who died in utero, and Louis F. House III, 23.
LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating, but there are no suspects.Â
