LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A 23-year-old Louisville man was arrested Friday evening and charged with murder in connection to a homicide earlier this week.
On Monday, police were called to an apartment at the corner of West Jefferson Street and South 18th Street around 1:15 p.m. after someone reported that "a person was down inside."
When officers arrived, they found the body of a woman. Her name hasn't been released.
A medical examiner later determined she died from a gunshot wound.
Coreleion Toogood is accused of shooting at her apartment from his car.
According to LMPD, the bullet went through the front window and hit the woman inside.
Arrest documents state video footage captured the shooting and Toogood admitted to being in the car at the time of the shooting.
He was arrested Friday evening. On Saturday morning he pleaded not guilty and his bond was set at $100,000 cash.
