LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Three people died after a multi-vehicle crash in Hardin County on Saturday evening, according to police.

Hardin County Sheriff's Office responded to a crash near mile marker 6 of Bluegrass Parkway around 5:10 p.m. 

Police said two vehicles were traveling eastbound when one vehicle lost control and left the roadway, then crossed the median and went airborne. That vehicle hit a vehicle traveling westbound head-on. Another vehicle was then hit in the front passenger side.

Shirley Fuqua, 30, of Elizabethtown, was pronounced dead at the scene. Leslie Parson, 58, and William Parson, 55, both from Bowling Green, also died at the scene.

Police said the drivers of the two other vehicles were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The Hardin County Sheriff's Office is investigating the crash.
