LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man was found dead in Mercer County after falling into a lake, reported by WKYT.
Police received a call around 8 p.m. Monday at Lake Herrington.Â
John Gregory Wood, 76, stumbled and fell over a cliffside into the lake. Mercer County Coroner's Office said he hit several rocks on the way down into the lake.
The fall incapacitated Wood and he drowned, according to WKYT.Â
