LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Kentucky State Police is investigating a two-vehicle crash that killed a 98-year-old Springfield man.
The crash happened at the intersection of KY 150 and Bloomfield Road in Washington County around 4 p.m. March 16. John Keeling was traveling north on Bloomfield Road in a 2013 Cadillac CTS, according to police. While he was trying to cross KY 150, he hit 2015 Ford Taurus traveling west.
The Washington County coroner pronounced Keeling dead at the scene. The other driver was transported to a hospital and treated for minor injuries.
KSP Post 15 Troopers were assisted at the scene by the Washington County Sheriff’s Department, Springfield Police Department, Washington County Fire/EMS, Washington County Coroner and the Kentucky State Highway Department.Â
The investigation remains ongoing.
