LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Belle of Louisville plans to be up and running by the end of the month.
According to the Belle of Louisville, crews are almost finished with repairs to the historic steamboat. The Belle of Louisville had to pull out of the Great Steamboat Race during the Kentucky Derby Festival this year because of a fuel tank issue.
Once repairs are finished, there will be an inspection before the boat returns to service.Â
The cruise season started March 28, the 111th year of cruises along the Ohio River.
