LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A Louisville boutique will close its storefront in NuLu after nearly a decade, but it's not leaving the neighborhood.
Six Sisters Boutique will merge with its nearby neighbor, Paxton's Men's Clothing, according to our partners at Louisville Business First.
The owner said the decision was driven by personal and business challenges, including rising costs, high rents and property taxes, tariffs and parking constraints in NuLu.
"Rather than walking away, we saw an opportunity to evolve," owner Katie Meinhart said. "By bringing our two brands together under one roof, we're creating a stronger, more intentional business that allows us to continue serving our customers and contributing to the NuLu community for years to come."
The merger will happen this fall, and the two will take over the men's clothing store space on East Market Street.Â
The new store will be called Paxton's Provisions, selling everything from apparel and gifts, to home decor and lifestyle products.
