LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A liquor store on Preston Highway in Louisville's Newburg neighborhood received a visit Friday from Louisville Metro Police officers and agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Fire.
Law enforcement agents were seen entering Liquor Palace 5, located at 5602 Preston Highway near East Indian Trail.
ATF spokesperson Jennifer Hicks confirmed the raid in a written statement:
"On January 10, 2025, ATF Louisville Division, assisted by LMPD and other law enforcement agencies, conducted a law enforcement operation involving multiple court authorized warrants. We are not able to comment on active investigations."
The business' "OPEN" sign wasn't lit Friday, and no one answered the phone inside.
