LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — The former President and CEO of Brown-Forman has died at the age of 87.

William Lee Lyons Brown Jr. died peacefully on June 9 in Gulf Stream, Florida.

Brown served in several leadership roles for Brown-Forman between 1975 and 1996.

According to his obituary, Brown also served as the American Ambassador to Austria under President George Bush from 2001 to 2005.

Brown also held roles for President Ronald Reagan and President Bill Clinton.

He also served as a first lieutenant in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1964-1966.

Funeral arraignments have not been released yet.
