LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A popular chicken restaurant is opening its doors in southern Indiana.
Dave's Hot Chicken will open Thursday on Town Center Boulevard in Jeffersonville. It was open Wednesday for friends, family and first responders. The restaurant is popular on social media and has more than 230 locations across the country, including one in Lexington.
This is the first of nine that'll be located in the Louisville area.
"This one here is kind of to get us started," Director of Operations Greg Prine said Wednesday. "Once we get in the building and have people come in, people will know who we are, and that is going to help us expand quicker into the Louisville market."
It's unknown at this time where the Louisville locations will be.
