LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- It's that time of the year again - people starting to get packages on their doorstep.
The holidays are the time of year when we tend to give people the benefit of the doubt and let our guard down.
The number one scam to look out for according to the Better Business Bureau are fake Amazon, FedEx, or UPS delivery notices.
Number two is porch pirates, who grab packages right off your doorstep. Another big one is the puppy scam, because who wouldn't fall for a cute puppy in need of a home for the holidays?
Bogus government grants, phony e-cards, and email letters from Santa are three holiday scams that go back to the dawn of the internet and are still being shared via social media.
Share the holiday spirit, but be cautious if it's a call, email, or social media message!
