LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Grammy-nominated Forrest Frank broke the KFC Yum! Center's attendance record for a Christian artist, a show that also ranked No. 2 in concert attendance in the venue's history.
Frank's "The Jesus Generation Tour" shattered the Yum! Center's attendance record for a Christian artist with more than 20,400 fans attending Tuesday's concert in downtown Louisville.
This came about three months after Grammy Award-winning artist Brandon Lake broke the record for Christian music with 15,000 in attendance.
Officials said Frank's record is the second-largest attended concert in the center's history and the largest since Metallica set its all-time attendance record with more than 23,000 fans in March 2019. The center said that ranks Frank at No. 2 in concert attendance in the venue's history and "the largest Christian concert ever held" at the center.
In a news release Wednesday, KFC Yum! Center General Manager Eric Granger called Frank's Tuesday concert "nothing short of a defining moment for faith-based live entertainment."
