LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The 33rd annual Kentucky Bourbon Festival is officially sold out for the fourth consecutive year.
There will be more than 60 distilleries participating in the three-day event in September in Bardstown. All attendees will have access to more than 60 distilleries, including rare bourbon tastings, exclusive access to limited products or selections, and meet-and-greets with the distillers.
"Everybody comes and does their hunt," said Randy Prasse, president of Kentucky Bourbon Festival. "They want to come out and find that special bottle. And in the case of our guests, 85% are coming from outside of Kentucky, there's a lot of spirits that they can't get in their home cities and home states. So they come here on a mission to buy that treasure bottle and take it home and show it off to friends and family."
Live music and food trucks will also be available.
The festival will be Sept. 13-15.
The festival also features the World Championship Bourbon Barrel Relay for distilleries. Distilleries form teams to be the fastest at stocking mock rickhouses.
