LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- While Kentucky is known for its distilleries, its breweries got some attention on Saturday.

The seventh annual Kentucky Craft Bash Beer festival was held at Festival Plaza at Waterfront Park. Dozens of breweries showcased their beers.

The whole plaza at the downtown Louisville park turned into a taproom as brewers were on-hand for tastings and to educate people about the brewing process.

There were more than 150 beer samples as well as food and vendors throughout the day.

Proceeds from the festival benefit the Kentucky Guild of Brewers, a nonprofit advocating for the craft beer industry in Kentucky. To learn more about the organization, click here.
