LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Louisville police said a missing 15-year-old girl was found safe.
Louisville Metro Police cancelled the Operation Return Home that was issued Wednesday afternoon for Melody Williams.
In an update about 5 p.m., LMPD Spokesperson Aaron Ellis said Williams was found and safe.
Williams went missing on Monday, Feb 2, in the 7600 block of Ashby Landing Drive, off Greenbelt Highway, in Louisville.
LMPD said Williams "walked away from her residence" and hasn't spoken to her family. Williams is also without her daily medication.
