LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- People who enjoy the outdoors have a place to go this week in Louisville.

The Louisville Boat, RV and Sportshow is making its way back to the Kentucky Exposition Center. The five-day show takes a year to plan and gathers hundreds of vendors and takes nearly a week to set up on the convention floor.

More than 40,000 people are expected to attended to see the latest outdoor sports and recreation equipment.

"It's just nice to have this whole one-stop-shop for everywhere," said Jackie Pashia, the show's coordinator. "Whatever they are looking for, it has one common market place you can see, compare different models and deals and all that."

The show will open to the public on Wednesday and goes through Sunday. Tickets are $14 for anyone 13 years and older. Children 12 years and younger are free.

A couple new show features are being highlighted this year. Rescued and adopted dogs from The Puppy Pals — as seen on the popular TV show "America's Got Talent" — will perform stunts, and attendees can take home some cooking tips and recipes from Tim Farmer from "Tim Farmer's Country Kitchen."
