LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- For 50 years, the annual Kentucky Flea Market New Year's Spectacular has welcomed thousands of vendors and even more bargain hunters.
From florals to foliage, the Kentucky Exposition Center's annual flea market has something for everyone.
Organizer Terry Stewart has helped put the flea market on for the past five decades, and he said this weekend is the largest of the year. There are more than 800 booths, and that's triple the size of when Stewart's family started in 1973.
"We've had generations of shoppers and vendors come out here," Stewart said. "It's grown like family."

Stewart Promotions will also put on several other flea markets at the expo center throughout the year.
"There's some really cool stuff out here," said shopper Terri Jones. "I done bought Gatorade, Fruit Loop drinks, Takis, a pot, seasoning, and cups."
Admission to the flea market is free, and parking is half-off, if you buy anything.
The flea market runs through New Year's day. Show hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, and Monday 10a.m. to 5 p.m.Â
