LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) ā Take a journey back 165 million years to a time when dinosaurs roamed the Earth.
Jurassic Quest stomps into Louisville for two weekends this year at the Kentucky Exposition Center, Jan. 5-7 and Jan. 12-15.
Walk through millions of years of history, learning about the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods while seeing the life-like dinosaurs that ruled the planet.
"We work with paleontologists to make sure that all of these are up to scale," Brianna, a Jurassic Quest dinotrainer, said. "That includes colors, how many teeth they have, the size of their eyes, really down to the nitty gritty of the details."
In addition to life-like dinosaurs, you can ride on dinosaurs, see animatronic dinosaur shows and participate in interactive science activities like fossil digs. There will also be bounce houses, inflatables, a toddler play area and photo opportunities for children.
"What gets me excited is seeing the little kids cheering and laughing and just enjoying the dino-training experiences, as well as seeing our baby dinosaurs out in the open, it's a really life changing experience for a lot of kids," Angie, a Jurassic Quest dinotrainer, said.
