LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) --Â A local Chick-fil-A is getting national attention for some very speedy service.
The Jefferson Commons store on Outer Loop served 178 cars between noon and 1 p.m. on Friday. That breaks down to about three cars per minute, setting a new store record.
"It takes a lot of hard work," said Ashley Foxworth, Chick-fil-A chief marketing officer. "It takes a lot of innovation. It takes a lot of teamwork. They work well together. It takes all those things to be able to accomplish something like what they accomplished on Friday."
But the store isn't settling for three cars per minute. Chick-fil-A says it plans to try to work every single day to try to break that record again.
Except Sundays, of course.
