Mexican glass manufacturer opens new Louisville showroom

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Mexican glass manufacturer specializing in liquor bottles opened a new showroom Thursday on Main Street.

Pavisa Nouvel has designed special edition bottles for Jose Cuervo and Patron but started working with bourbon distilleries in recent years.

It's now created bottles for Buffalo Trace, Angel's Envy and Rabbit Hole. The showroom is Pavisa Nouvel's first physical location in the United States.

It'll offer tailor-made packaging to local bourbon producers there.

"What is unique about Pavisa is that we produce different shapes, different designs, different colors, and we can produce from one bottle to one million bottles for distillers and the bourbon industry," Pavisa Nouvel CEO Jorge Hernandez said.

The showroom is steps away from the Kentucky Bourbon Trail Welcome Center and other bourbon attractions like Bardstown Bourbon Company, Michter's Bourbon and Billets and Peerless.
