LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A $44 million development is planned for the River Ridge Commerce Center in Jeffersonville, Indiana, bringing hundreds of jobs to the region.
Communications Test Design Inc. plans to build a 400,000-square-foot facility at the site, according to our partners at Louisville Business First. It would be the company's third facility within the business park.
The project is expected to create about 400 jobs in its initial phase, according to the River Ridge Development Authority.
Construction could begin later this year, with completion expected by the end of 2027. The company also has plans for possible future expansion of the facility up to 660,000 square feet.
CTDI, based in Pennsylvania, provides engineering, repair and logistics services for the communications industry, including major telecom carriers and cable providers. The company already operates two facilities at River Ridge supporting nearly 1,600 jobs.
River Ridge officials said the continued investment highlights confidence in the region's workforce and infrastructure as the industrial park continues to grow.
