LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A new restaurant is scheduled to open next week in the Clifton neighborhood.
The team behind North of Bourbon is opening up a new restaurant on Frankfort Avenue called Enso, a name that comes from the Zen Circle, a symbol in Buddhism meaning coming full circle.
The North of Bourbon team of friends were inspired by their connections between New Orleans and Louisville to build the new restaurant. Owner and Executive Chef Lawrence Weeks will lead the culinary team, combining traditional Japanese techniques and flavors with southern influences. Some of the dishes include Chili She-Crab Noodles, Japanese Potato Salad with egg, and Agedashi Tofu.
You can also pair your meal with a selection of Japanese highballs, whiskeys and sakes.
Enso is set to open up Oct. 25.Â
