LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Texas Roadhouse is doubling down on Louisville.

The local restaurant company announced Thursday it had purchased two buildings that house its corporate headquarters and support center off Dutchmans Lane, near the Watterson Expressway.

"Texas Roadhouse was born and bred in Louisville in 1993," CEO Jerry Morgan said in a news release. "While Texas is in our name, there's no doubt that our hometown of Louisville is in our hearts. The purchase of our Support Center campus further solidifies our commitment to the community."

The $25 million investment comes as Texas Roadhouse had its most successful quarter in its three-decade history, with more than $1.5 billion in revenue.

The company operates its signature restaurant, as well as the Jaggers and Bubba's 33 restaurants.
